Upon arrival, we were welcomed by Lester and Marilyn with fresh homemade scones, a thoughtful touch after our long journey. The cottage was spacious and equipped with essentials: the kitchen was complete with cookware and utensils, making meal prep easy, and the outdoor dining area offered a lovely spot to relax with a cup of tea—a must for any trekker after a day of exploration. The location was peaceful, surrounded by lush green fields, creating a tranquil environment ideal for unwinding. Free Wi-Fi in common areas allowed us to stay connected without compromising the serenity of our stay. It’s worth noting the pricing. While the facilities are comfortable, including a game room and terraces for lounging, the cost may challenge a tight budget. Nonetheless, if you're after a home-like experience to recharge before or after your adventures, Tregolls Farm strikes a wise balance between comfort and price.
